Teaching Philosophy
Being a teacher is my life! I especially love special education and working with students who work hard despite their disabilities. I'm an advocate for every student, no matter their background, disability or disorder. I believe that every learner can succeed and make a difference in the life of others. I have the best job of building relationships with the best students and helping them along in their journey for not only their learning but also for who they will become.
My favorite saying that I love to tell my preschoolers are:
"But do we cry? Goodness no! We just keep on singing our song." -Pete the Cat
My motto as a teacher is:
"No significant learning occurs without a significant relationship." -Dr. James Comer
Personal Background:
I attended RVMS and graduated from RVHS in 2010. I love living here and being a part of this community with having family close by. I love to spend time with family, friends and of course with my husband and 5-year-old son. We feel blessed to live where we live and to enjoy "being home" here in the White Mountains.
