RVMS Girls Volleyball wanted to sing the National Anthem themselves today before their volleyball games. They did an amazing job!!! ❤️🇺🇸❤️🏐
RVMS staff had a little fun this week with an Underground Spirit Dress up week and we wanted to see if kids would catch on. We had Camo day, Team Day, and Holiday/Anything But a Cup day. One student in particular caught on the first day and was keeping tally marks daily of staff members who dressed up and was definitely paying attention! Jonathan Flores won the prize of a Blue Coconut Sonic slush! We also treated our staff to VIP Room Service to show our appreciation for all they do! We are thankful for our students, our parents, our community, and our staff! Happy Thanksgiving!

Reminder the food drive at RVES ends tomorrow. All food goes to our local Round Valley Cares food bank for Thanksgiving meals for our community members. Attached are flyers about a dinner they provide and other ways to support the cause. Have your kiddos bring non-perishable food items to school tomorrow.

RVMS has the BEST sewing class and crocheting club led by teacher Jane Finch. These students are proud to show off their towels and pillows made from scratch. Great job!
RVES had our annual Veterans Day Assembly this last Thursday to honor our local Veterans. We had a great turn out, and the kids were able to learn and sing three great songs as part of it. Thank you Mrs. Slade. We had the winning 4th grade essay winners read their Why I Am Proud To Be An American essays. All grade levels and staff were great in helping set up and make a moving assembly. A great big thank you to Mr. Mario Soto for sharing a great message with the students, and to the VFW and American Legion for helping spread the word and supporting us. It is so great for the kids to be able to have so many local Veterans join us.
RVMS is proud to have teachers who represent 3 different branches of the military: Jenniffer Leonhardt (Navy), Ryan Bottachiari (Marines), and Ryan Lloyd (Air Force). Students paid tribute on Thursday to our in house veterans by lining the halls and cheering for them and the Steel Drums class played the National Anthem as a special treat! Thank you to all veterans for your service and your sacrifice!
Halloween FUN! Thanks to all the parents and family that showed up to watch our costume parade. Staff and students all had a great time. We completed our Clue game as well, and had a great time all week with it.
RVES would like to recognize our Student of the Month and Kind Kids for October! Our focus word for October was Trustworthy. We have an amazing group of kids. Thank you so much to Eagar Pizza and Short Stop for providing awards for our Star Students.
4th Grade voting today was a great way for the kids to have real world experiences,
5th Grade Forest Service Presentation, thank you to our local Forest Service for taking time to come present.
